GoPro said that Karma actually had time to sit in second position in the drone market for the price class, but GoPro still difficult to make a profit.

Later, market areas such as Europe and the United States impose stricter rules on drones, thus further limiting the space for Karma.

“These factors make the aerial market go untenable and GoPro will get out of the market after spending the remaining Karma stock,” GoPro said in a statement.
“GoPro will continue to provide service and support to Karma customers,” GoPro continued, as KompasTekno summarizes from The Verge, Tuesday (9/1/2018).

Drone Karma has been plagued by problems since it was first launched at a price of 799 US dollars (USD 10 million) by the end of 2016. In November, a month after marketed, Karma was recalled due to battery problems.

Karma then faced fierce competition from BandarQ Terbaik new products like Mavic Pro from DJI who had already mastered the drone market.

GoPro corporate finance itself is not encouraging. Revenue in the fourth quarter of 2017 is projected at 340 million US dollars, much lower than the previous estimate of 470 million US dollars.
